frequently asked questions
What day-of coordination tasks can you help us with on the wedding day?
Every wedding is unique, and I love it that way!
I aim to ask the important questions to discover which parts of the day are most important to you, and depending on the coordination package you’ve chosen, I’ll use that information to determine the best 6 or 10-hour timeframe for me to be present on the day. Where I’ll be and what I’ll be doing to help during that time is never the same and totally up to you!
Along with the most common day-of tasks below:
-
Schedule and Timeline Management
-
Décor Setup/Breakdown
-
Ceremony Direction
-
Logistics Assistance
-
Guest & Wedding Party Relations
-
Vendor Communications
I can also assist with tasks like:
-
Dress bustling
-
Boutonniere pinning
-
Drink fetching
-
Garment steaming
-
Bouquet holding
-
Train fluffing

In addition to my time on the wedding day, I’ll be there to answer all of your questions during the month leading up to the day. After all, you’ve probably never done this before!

In truth, the possibilities are endless.

Not sure if I can help with a certain task? Just ask!
There’s a pretty good chance the answer is yes.

What if I already have a venue coordinator?
While venue coordinators and day-of coordinators are somewhat similar, they are absolutely not the same.
Typically, a venue coordinator's main priority is the physical venue and all aspects of the property’s operations, parking, maintenance, etc. In any case, I always recommend asking your venue what tasks they can and can’t assist you with. Every venue is different, and some may be able to help with more tasks than others!

However, if they aren’t able to help with certain important details, that would be the time to hire a day-of coordinator!

When is the best time to book a day-of coordinator?
Based on information gathered from CRE’s previous weddings, most couples inquired 10-12 months prior to their wedding day. Those who decided to move forward with booking typically did so within the month following their complimentary consultation.
However, I only need your wedding date and venue(s) confirmed to secure your spot – so as long as you have those two details, you’re encouraged to book whenever the timing works best for you!

**However**
Please note that Saturdays in Spring and Autumn historically fill up the quickest, and all inquiries are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis - with couples who attend a consultation with me receiving date priority.

Do I really get free access to the Décor Bar when I book a Wedding BFF day-of coordination package?
Yes!! There’s no need to buy a ton of items just to turn around and sell them on marketplace after the wedding… ain’t nobody got time for that!

Right Hand Gals have the option to rent items from the Decor Bar at individual prices, and any additional costs will be added to their final payment - due one week prior to the wedding. Ask Katie for pricing!
